Homosexuality in the Light of God
Segment #3
This is the third installment of a three part series. The first installment sought to define the issue within the context of scripture and point out that the act of homosexuality has always been around and defined as unnatural and immoral. I believe that there is no scriptural evidence that could define this behavior as acceptable in the eyes of God. To attempt to do so would be an attempt to twist the meaning and understanding of truth, both biblically and within the natural law.

The Influence of the Demonic Realm
(This article is a follow up to "What's the deal with homosexuality". I'd encourage you to read it before reading this article)
Thank you for all those who posted responses to the first article. I have made it my practice to read and pray through the responses but not reply in that venue. There is simply not enough time in my day to get to everyone. I really do appreciate the dialogue and struggle exemplified within that discussion.

When asked to tackle this subject in a three part series, I knew that was going to get into a subject that has so many elements that need to be addressed to give this topic some justice. With great uneasiness, I will tread into the murky waters of homosexuality and see if our Lord can’t shed more light for those who struggle with this issue. I suspect that we should start with just that. Who struggles with Homosexuality? I would suspect that most of us do, but differently. You may not have a sexual-emotional desire for someone of the same sex, but you may be struggling to come to your own understanding and or belief about the morality of this issue. You may have a close friend and or relative who has chosen to pursue this lifestyle, and you struggle to relate to them. You may be involved in this lifestyle and may or may not struggle with its legitimacy. Needless to say, all of us have to come to grips with this issue if not for ourselves, then to provide light for others who are experiencing confusion.

As a Father of not one but five daughters, it became evident that I was going to have to be proactive in my effort to protect my children. In my early Adulthood, there were no good Catholic books out there on Manhood or Fatherhood. I did find, however, a book written by Robert Wolgemuth entitled “She Calls Me Daddy.” I credit Robert for most of the material you are about to read.

In recent history men have been searching for that illusive definition of what makes a man. Most men have looked to their own Fathers and the examples of other men in their immediate vicinity and in the media. While both sources have provided plenty of definitions and examples, the problem lies within the heart of each man. Despite our best effort to fulfill this role, within our hearts, we still struggle to know if we have achieved it.
